Giving to Kids Central means making an investment in the wellbeing of our community. Your donation allows us to provide additional resources to vulnerable children and families — right here in Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion, and Sumter Counties.

Additionally, Kids Central’s corporate facility is home to a Resource Center created to assist clients served by Kids Central or partnering agencies. We accept furniture of all sizes and can assist with pick-up of donated items. You can also donate directly to Kids Central through Amazon, wishlists are updated each month.

Kids Central’s volunteer program was established in February 2010.  Since then, volunteers have contributed more than 3,500 hours assisting in Kids Central’s Resource Center, both in internal departments and through involvement with community events. The program strives to be flexible and accommodating to volunteers’ schedules.

As a volunteer with Kids Central’s Mentoring Program, you can make a positive difference in the life of a young person in the foster care system. Mentors offer guidance and support to local youth on their path to adulthood. Mentorship offers a wonderful way for members of our community to help foster youth even if they do not feel called to become foster parents.
